Manuel Eisner is a Swiss criminologist and professor at the Institute of Criminology at the University of Cambridge, known for historical research reconstructing centuries-long trends in homicide and interpersonal violence across Europe. He also leads the Zurich Project on the Social Development of Children, a long-running longitudinal study of the origins of youth violence and delinquency.
