Hayley Cleary

American criminologist and psychologist, Associate Professor of Criminal Justice and Public Policy at Virginia Commonwealth University's L. Douglas Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs. Her research focuses on adolescents in the criminal justice system, particularly their behavior during police interrogation, and on policy reform in this area. She received the Louise Kidder Early Career Award from the Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues in 2018, and her work has been covered by The New York Times and The New Yorker.
