Cui Daozhi

Cui Daozhi, born in June 1934, is a Chinese forensic scientist renowned for his expertise in trace evidence and ballistic identification within China's police forensic system. Over a career spanning more than sixty years, he personally examined evidence in more than 1,200 major criminal cases and is credited with conducting approximately 7,000 trace evidence analyses, building a reputation as the country's leading authority on firearm and ballistic trace identification. His long practice helped establish rigorous standards for firearms and trace evidence examination within Chinese criminal investigation and trained generations of forensic technicians who followed him.
