Robert King Wittman

Robert King Wittman is a former FBI special agent who served in the FBI Philadelphia Field Division from 1988 to 2008. Trained in the identification of art, antiques, jewelry and gems, he became the FBI top investigator and coordinator for cases involving art theft and art fraud, recovering more than 300 million dollars in stolen art and cultural property over his 20 year career. Wittman helped establish the FBI Art Crime Team in 2005 and that year helped recover North Carolina stolen copy of the Bill of Rights. After leaving the FBI he became an art security consultant and in 2010 published a memoir, Priceless: How I Went Undercover to Rescue the World Stolen Treasures.
