This dimension groups criminology theories by the era in which they were first proposed. Wikipedia notes that criminology is "the interdisciplinary study of crime and deviant behaviour," a study whose theories have developed across every era since the field itself first took shape. Browsing by origin era lets a visitor compare theories that arose in the same period.
