Killing of Family Members, Infants and the Unborn

Offenses named for the killing of a relative, a newborn, a child or an unborn child, including the Latin terms for killing a mother, father, brother, sister, spouse or whole family, and the killing of infants. An offense belongs here when the victim is defined by kinship or by age at birth. It excludes killings of adults who are not relatives and the culturally specific killings in the honor and gender-motivated group.
