This dimension groups criminal-justice institutions by the era in which they were founded. Wikipedia notes that a law enforcement agency is "any government agency responsible for law enforcement within a specific jurisdiction," agencies that have been established across every era of modern government. Browsing by founded era lets a visitor compare institutions established in the same period.
