Child Trafficking

Acts Causing or Intending Harm to the Person

Child trafficking is a form of human trafficking defined by the United Nations as the recruitment, transportation, harbouring, or receipt of a child for the purpose of slavery, forced labour, or sexual exploitation, a definition broader than the same instrument's definition of trafficking in persons generally. Children may also be trafficked into illegal adoptions, which violate child-rights norms including the best interests of the child and the prohibition on improper financial gain; the anti-trafficking organization Love146 has estimated that more than three million children worldwide are victimized in sex trafficking and child labor. Has Offense Grade

Entity-backed identity for the offense-grade enum value this offense already carries, resolved to a crime concept by an explicit value-to-entity map (phase 3 bucket conversion, docs\design_entity_backed_browse_buckets_20260928.md). The offense-grade fact itself stays on the offense unchanged.
