Insubordinate Conduct Toward a Warrant or Noncommissioned Officer

Insubordinate conduct toward a warrant, noncommissioned, or petty officer is an offense under Article 91 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice. It covers a warrant officer or enlisted member who strikes or assaults such an officer while the officer is executing the duties of office, willfully disobeys the lawful order of such an officer, or treats such an officer with contempt or disrespect in language or deportment while the officer is executing the duties of office. A person convicted under the article is punished as a court-martial directs.
