Long Firm Fraud

Fraud, Deception and Corruption Offenses

A long firm fraud, also known as a consumer credit fraud, is a crime carried out through a trading company set up for fraudulent purposes. The perpetrators run the company as an apparently legitimate business, buying goods and paying suppliers promptly to build a good credit record, then use that credit to order a larger round of goods before disappearing with the goods and the profits from earlier sales. Has Offense Grade

Entity-backed identity for the offense-grade enum value this offense already carries, resolved to a crime concept by an explicit value-to-entity map (phase 3 bucket conversion, docs\design_entity_backed_browse_buckets_20260928.md). The offense-grade fact itself stays on the offense unchanged.
