Revenge porn is the distribution of sexually explicit images or videos of a person without their consent, done with the intention of publicly humiliating or damaging the reputation of the person depicted, typically out of a desire for revenge. The material may originate from a past intimate relationship, made with the subject's knowledge and consent at the time, or it may have been created without the subject's knowledge at all.
