The eleventh and final UNODC ICCS 2015 level-1 class, covering offenses whose defining harm is to the natural environment itself, wildlife, forests, land, air and water, rather than to a specific person or to property understood as an individual's own possession. Belongs here: any offense whose core conduct unlawfully takes, damages or contaminates a natural resource or wild species in violation of the law that protects it. Does not belong here: an offense against privately or publicly owned property whose harm is measured as ordinary property loss, such as arson of a building, grouped under Property Offenses Involving Violence or Threat. This subcategory groups Poaching, Illegal Logging and Illegal Dumping.
